the current french gourmet dessert of choice seems to be cheesecake. i don't get it. these stodgy american desserts (not to mention coo-keys, smoo-sees and braw-nies) seem to be taking over the delicately prepared little cakes and melt in the mouth profiteroles. well, if that's what they want;
let them eat brownies.... carla brownies.
